It all started when…

Two people fell in love… with the ocean.

Ecological Marine Adventures began as a passion project, and that passion continues to drive us as a nonprofit marine science and conservation education center. Our mission is simple and pure: conservation education.

Did you know that if all the trees on Earth were cut down today, the ocean would still generate enough oxygen for us? It’s estimated that up to 85% of the oxygen on Earth comes from phytoplankton in the ocean. Incredible, right?

We love the ocean. We want to protect it and ensure future generations can enjoy it, but here’s the tricky part: we can’t do this alone.

Real care, real protection, and real conservation start with passion and a whole lot of love. Now ask us again—what does EMA do?

EMA inspires kids (and kids at heart!) to love the ocean through hands-on experiences like field exploration, experiments, data collection, touch tanks, aquarium work, and more. As they dive into learning through fun, they develop a deep appreciation for the ocean—one that leads to care, protection, and stewardship.
